Statue of Sir Thomas White (1492-1566), Master of Merchant Taylors'
Company in 1535 and Lord Mayor of London in 1553. Late C19 by
T. Woolner. Stone. Square pedestal with rounded corners, inscription on
front face. Slightly larger than life size figure on round base in C16
dress. (Pevsner 1977).
