House. Mid-C17; restored mid-C20. Timber-framed, rendered infill, brick
replacement walling and refacing; plain tiled roof. Two framed bays aligned
north/south; large external chimney with tiled offsets and detached brick
stack at south gable end. Single storey and attic with dormers. Framing:
three panels from sill to wall-plate (only upper row visible to east front
elevation), long straight braces in some lower corners; collar and tie-beam
trusses at gable ends with four struts beneath collar at north end and three
struts beneath collar at south end. East front elevation: windows are all
2-light casements; three ground floor windows, one stair light and two
gabled dormers; main entrance to right has a C20 gabled timber porch, multi-
paned door, lights in side elevations and stable door within. Attic lights
in gable ends. Interior: framing noted as being mainly intact. Large fire-
place retained at south end. C20 lean-to with catslide roof at rear; also
C20 glazed lean-to encloses chimney at south gable end.
