8/33 Tudor Cottage

GV II


House. C17 with mid- to late C19 alterations. Timber-frame on brick
plinth with rendered infill panels. Three framed bays aligned east/west,
bay at west end lower; integral gable-end stacks to two tall bays with late
C19 brick shafts of 6-pointed-star plan. One storey with attic lit by two
gabled dormers; ground floor: three windows, two to right C19 square bay
windows with 2-light C20 casements carried up to dormers; entrance to left
of centre with hipped tile canopy, C20 ledged door. Framing: three square
panels high with straight angle braces, also straight tension braces to
east gable; truss three struts to collar, V-struts in apex.
