Probably early C19. Flint, slate roof with red tile ridge. Brick rusticated quoins, the whole painted white. 2 storeys, 2 windows, flat arches, casements. On ground floor - 2 C19 rectangular shop bays flanking a low doorway, cambered arch.

Malthouse Cottage, Old Barn Close, Post Office, Pelham Cottage, Nos 122, 124 and 126, and Nos 1-4 Malthouse Cottages form a group.
