House, now inn. c1800 refronting of earlier property with later additions and alterations. Stucco over brick with renewed plain tile roof, brick internal left rear stack and right end stack, both with oversailing course and pots. Three storeys, five first-floor windows. Stucco detailing includes chamfered plinth, rusticated ground floor and continuous panel at first floor level surmounted by first-floor sill band. Windows have tooled architraves and sills to ground and second floors. First floor has 6/6 flush sashes. Second floor has 3/3 flush sashes, except the second window which has a metal grill. Ground floor has four 1/1 horned sashes and off-centre right entrance a four-raised-and-fielded-panel door with fanlight with radial glazing bars in pilastered doorcase with open pediment.

INTERIOR: chamfered and boxed beams to ground-floor.

Forms a good group with Nos 1, 1A and 3 Angel Street (qv).
