Collegiate House

(Formerly listed as Collegiate House at Collegiate School)

1835-36 by J.G. Weightman. Originally headmaster's house with boarding accommodation on top floor. Domestic gothic style. White brick and stone dressings. Slate roof. Two storeys and attic. Three bays, three gables (centre smaller) with pinnacles. Mullion/transom windows with flat heads and dripmoulds. Central doorway with four-centred arch head with drip-mould and fanlight. Right hand return elevation four bays, central projecting with gable. East wing added shortly after opening.
