Barn, possibly medieval altered in C17, rubble stone with
corrugated iron roof. Projecting gabled south cart-entry with
lean-to additions each side. North entry flanked by buttresses.
Regular disposition of ashlar vent loops, 2 each side of cart-
entries, 2 each end. Small square openings regularly disposed
below loops. East end wall has upper loading door and blocked
dove-openings. Seven bay interior with double-purlin roof and
tie-beam-and-collar trusses. Heavy cornerstones indicate an early
date but building may be rebuilt using old stonework, ashlar loops
may be reused window mullions. Some graffiti including ID 1717
and I 1776.
