The Bishop's House

Circa 1600 timber-framed house with painted render infill panels. On sandstone
foundations. Steeply pitched plain tile roof, hipped at north, gabled at south
and west. Two storeys, L-shaped plan with lower one storey and attic wing, at
right angles to west. Mainly two-light casements with leaded lights. Small
oriel bay windows at ground floor of north and west gables. Lean-to open porch
in angle between two portions of house. Brick ridge chimney stack to main
range and brick stack projects from south side of lower wing.
