west side)

and forecourt railings

GV II

House. C17 with mid- to late-C19 remodelling. Roughcast, probably
on timber frame or coursed limestone rubble, with slate roof. L-plan
with gabled wing projecting to right. 2 storeys. Large stone ridge
stack at junction of 2 ranges. First floor margin-light sash, ground
floor tripartite sash to right and 6 flush-panelled door to left with
mid- to late-C19 porch consisting of octagonal columns supporting
frieze and cornice; right-hand return front with first floor margin-
light sash, ground floor canted bay, and half-glazed door to left.
Late-C19 cast iron railed enclosure at front. (c.f. No. 1, Welsh Street g.v.).
