Mid to late C19. Large Gothic style house. Pale buff-coloured brick with dressings
of blue and red brick; 2 storeys, attic and basement. Gabled wing projects on right-
hand side with brick buttresses at sides and tiered angular bay; casement windows,
generally with pointed-arch heads; bands of red and blue brick; small gable at centre
with trefoiled opening; tiered pentice porch bay with arched doorway and steps up;
tile roof. Two storey wing on left-hand side.
