behind Nos, l08
and 110

Timber framed building, now hotel bar. C17. Coursed rubble and
brick, rendering, ashlar dressings. Single storey with slate
roof. South side, linked to Lion Hotel by glazed roof, has to
left, single plain sash and to its right, C20 door, both with
ashlar surrounds; to right again, 2 C20 doors with overlights.
North side has timber framed panels. Interior has 6 bay posts, 2
with braces to collar beam. Principal rafter roof with halved
ridge, notched purlins, tenoned collars and straight windbraces.
One bay has studding between tie beam and collar. Tie beams
have empty mortices underneath. 2 western bays largely rebuilt
c.1983.
