Farmhouse. Rear wing late C17, front range c1720 with later alterations. Red sandstone, rendered
to all but one elevation; timber framed interior. Front range has C19 slated, pitched roof with
overhanging, bracketed eaves and chimney stacks to both gables. Rear wing has hipped roof with
corrugated iron replacing thatch and continuing over an outshoot with dormer to left and 2 brick
stacks; joggled purlins. 2 storeys. Front range, 3 windows. H-plan. Front range has C20 glazing in
original openings and central glazed C20 porch. Rear range has a 1st floor, 4-light ovolo mullioned
window with moulded frame and one shutter to gable end and similar window with one moulded
mullion to ground floor. Interior has C19 patterned tiled floor to central entrance hall with cl720
open-string, column newel stair having stick balusters and wreathed handrail. Rooms have
chamfered spine beams and most with wide floor boards.
