Row of cottages. Late C17 to early C19. Brick walling, flint and brick to No. 1.
Brick dentil eaves cornice and red pantiled roof common to whole row. At south, No. 1
the earliest house in the row: C17 core with C18 details. Ground floor 2 tripartite
sashes with glazing bars. C20 door under pentice canopy. No. 2 with one ground and
one first floor sash with glazing bars. With C19 boarded door with central glazed
opening, and part glazed door. No. 4 "Dene Cottage" of 3 bays with 2 ground and 2
first floor sashes with glazing bars, early C20 door, is two end and 2 party wall
stacks. Included for group value.
