Lodge to Cookridge Hall (qv), now house, with boundary walls to west and east. c1830. For Richard Wormald. Coursed squared gritstone and ashlar, slate roof. Two storeys, one by two bays, corner site with canted bay facing junction with Holt Lane, entrance on right return. Former sash windows, plain sills and lintels, on front and right return to first floor they are under pedimented gable with carving in the tympanum and deep console brackets. Moulded string course and recessed panels below and flanking the front first floor window. Two corniced ridge stacks.

Walling: to left return coursed stone, linking to outbuilding; to right a low ornamental wall with plinth, solid stone panels with circular piercings, chamfered coping, overall length approximately 15 metres from house curving to Holt Lane.

INTERIOR: not inspected.

One of the new buildings by Richard Wormald shortly after he bought the estate in 1820.
