GV II

Outbuilding, formerly a coach house and stable, now a garage
with living accommodation above. Later C19. In flint with
stone dressings and quoins; plaintiled roof on 2 levels with a
flat top. One storey and attic. The front has 2 arched
doorways, one with a semicircular head, the other wider and
segmental-headed, in stone with details in Norman style. On
the upper storey, a long inserted dormer has 4 adjacent
2-light single bar casement windows. In the upper part of the
north gable wall a blocked window opening in Norman style with
part of a blocked circular lunette above it, indicating that
the flat top to the roof is secondary. The lower part of the
gable wall has been replaced by red brick.
