Stables. Circa 1919; by Charles Bateman for Lord Redesdale. Coursed stone rubble. Stone tile hipped roof. Coursed limestone rubble stack over NE corner.
PLAN: Rectangular on plan with tack room at left [NE] end.
EXTERIOR: 1 storey and loft. Asymmetrical 5-bay front. Wooden mullion-transom windows with small panes and horizontally sliding sashes. Plank groom's door on left and stable door on right with strap hinges and rectangular overlights. Gabled loading door in roof above, flanked by two small dormers. Dormers in hipped ends.
INTERIOR: Stables have wooden loose-boxes. Tack room has cast-iron saddle-racks and brackets.
