Town house, now shop and offices. Early C17 with C18 front, altered in C2O.
Timber framed, exposed on rear gable with brick infilling, red/brown brick
cladding on the front, painted on the ground floor. Parallel-range plain-
tiled roofs with boarded gable end to left. Three storeys with plat bands
over the ground and first floors and diagonal brick dentils to eaves. Stack
to rear. One sash window in architrave surround on the second floor, cambered-
head casement to first floor below. Plate glass shop front across the ground
floor with glazed door to right under flat hood.
Interior:- Wall frames visible and stop-chamfered spine-beam in ceiling of
front room on ground floor. Small late C18/C19 turned baluster staircase and
old Queen-strut clasped-purlin roof remains over lower rear range.
Undergoing restoration at time of re-survey.
