Farmhouse, now 3 houses. C17 with later alterations and
additions. Painted brick with some timber-frame with painted
brick infill to right of centre; gabled old tile roof with
brick lateral and ridge stacks. 5-unit plan with rear
cross-wing.
EXTERIOR: single storey plus attic; 6-window range. Top
dentilled brick cornice. Jackson's Farmhouse to right has C20
hipped porch with plank door and small-paned glazing flanked
by windows with 3-light small-paned glazing with iron opening
casements; 2 hipped half-dormers have 3-light cross-casements;
the right with leaded glazing, the left small-paned.
No.27 has large gabled open porch with splat balusters to
sides; overlight to panelled and glazed door; window to left
has 3-light small-paned casement; first floor has hipped half
dormer with 3-light transomed casement and hipped dormer with
3-light casement.
No.28 has entrance to left of centre with C20 lean-to open
porch and plank door; segmental-headed window to right has
2-light leaded casement; C20 window with leaded casement to
left; first floor has 3-light leaded glazing with iron opening
casement, small leaded light and hipped half-dormer with
3-light transomed and small-paned casement.
INTERIOR: noted as having C17 staircases.
