GV II

3 houses, now one. C17, altered and re-fronted 1899. Brick and
timber-frame; steeply pitched old tile roof with brick end
stacks and cross-axial stack. 3-unit plan.
EXTERIOR: single-storey plus attic; 3-window range. Entrance
to right of centre has doorcase with pilasters and entablature
with C19 gabled canopy; 6-panelled door. C19 canted bay window
to left has hipped tile roof over paired horned sashes and
side sashes; window to each end has moulded brick sill, and
rubbed brick flat arch over paired horned sashes. First floor
has 3 gabled half-dormers with moulded brick sills, and
pebbledash over 2/2 horned sashes. Blocked entrance to left of
centre, with Guardian fire plate above.
Right return has brick lean-to outshut with external stack and
exposed timber-framing to gable and heads of wall studs.
Timber-framing with brick infill to rear, rear wing and
inserted late C20 patio doors.
