House, now shop and house. C17 with later additions and
alterations including C20 additions to front left. Small,
square panels of timber-framing with pinkish-brown brick
infill in English garden wall bond and some painted plaster
infill. Thatched roof. 3-unit plan.
EXTERIOR: single storey with attics, 5-window range. Ground
floor: shop to left has glazed display window and glazed
entrance. Entry to house through a plank door in wooden
surround set to right of main elevation; 2 casement windows to
left of door. 5 thatched raking dormers have casement windows.
Steeply-pitched gabled roof. Left end and ridge stacks with
cornices. Timber-framing to left gable end.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
