Entrance arch to garden. Probably C19 (but possibly earlier
and ex situ); slightly damaged at time of inspection
(September 1994). Ashlar. Renaissance style. Tudor-arched
opening with moulded surround to the upper half, flanked by
narrow banded pilasters with fluted tops and volute
supporters, and an entablature with a moulded cornice,
pulvinated frieze and a prominent moulded upper cornice
surmounted by a pediment flanked by ball finials (that to left
missing). Forms group with Dairy Cottage opposite (qv) and
with Gate (qv).
