Pair of houses. c1820-50. Ashlar fronted with tall brick end
stacks.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys, 4 first-floor windows; ground-floor
service range to rear of No.20. Giant Doric pilasters to ends
through ground and first floors, continuous frieze and
cornice; further cornice above third storey. Central
entrances: C20 6-panel doors with overlights with
margin-lights where original, in shared doorcase with pairs of
Tuscan pilasters, frieze and cornice. First floor has 6/6,
otherwise 1/1. Ground floor has tripartite windows 6/6 between
2/2 sashes, with floating cornices and aprons. Third floor has
3/3 sashes.
