Terraced house, now shop. c1820-50 with later alterations
including ground-floor shop front c1970. Painted ashlar over
brick with hipped slate roof.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys, 3 first-floor windows. First floor has
tall 6/6 sashes; second floor has central blind opening
between 6/6 sashes; all in plain reveals and with sills.
Cornice, blocking course and copings. Ground floor has C20
glazed shop front at left, entrance at right has C20 glazed
door with original fanlight with decorative glazing bars, in
rusticated surround. Round-arched opening at far right to
passage has voussoirs.
INTERIOR: has original plasterwork including ornate cornice to
hallway and front part, ground floor; narrow-open-well
staircase with stick balusters and wreathed handrail.
An isolated but substantially complete example.
