GV II

House. 1858, altered C20. Probably by TE Owen. Stuccoed. Roof
of interlocking tiles, rendered stack to centre and at centre
of gabled right wing.
3 storeys, 2 bays, formerly 2 storeys. L-shape plan. C20 door
to centre with fanlight set within rusticated gabled porch
with shaped brackets under projecting verges. On right small
sash to projecting wing. On left 6-pane sash with shutters
over head set in round-arched surround. First floor has small
metal casement window with shutters at head set in original
sash opening; 6-pane sash over porch. Projecting eaves and
roof verges have heavy shaped brackets. Rear: gabled left wing
has sillband at first floor returned on left and right, the
left return having 2 first-floor sashes and on ground floor 2
C20 French casements each with cornice and shaped brackets
over. Rear of right wing has 3 first-floor sashes and on
ground floor C20 French casement and 2 casements.
