GV II

House. 1858. Red brick in Flemish bond. Interlocking tiled
roof, rendered stack on left. 2 storeys and attic, 2 bays.
Stone quoin strips. On left is a 6-panelled door with
chamfered stone surround recessed behind projecting open
timber porch with pitched roof and cut bargeboards. On right
projecting bay which has facing steep pitched
gable and elaborate cut bargeboards is a tripartite stone bay
with chamfered mullions and surround, centre and side sashes,
and tented tiled roof. On first floor C20 casement with
rusticated stone surround. Attic has narrow casement within
gable with similar surround. On left is a very narrow 2-storey
recessed extension with facing gable and cut bargeboards, door
and small casement over with patterned margin glazing.
INTERIOR not inspected.
