Pair of semi-detached houses. c1830-40 with later additions
and alterations. Stucco over brick with hipped slate roof,
stuccoed end stacks.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys on basement, 3:2:1 first-floor windows.
Bay at right is recessed. Stucco details include horizontal
rustication to ground floor at left with voussoirs over
openings. 2/2 horizontal-pane sashes in plain reveals to first
floor; to ground floor at left are 1/1 horned sashes, all in
plain reveals, those to left house have tooled architraves
with sills on feet. Entrances to left and right: 4 roll-edged
steps to recessed, part-glazed 3-panel door with sidelight and
overlight with margin lights. Basement has C20 openings.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Forms part of a good group of villas.
