Gates, railings and gate piers. c1840-60. Cast-iron. 2 hollow
gate piers, made up of large railings with bulbous bases and
capped vase finials. Double gates made up of arrowhead
railings. Decorative spearhead railings to left for approx
10m. These railings, gates and piers front Pittville Lawn to
north of house.
An important set of railings, gates and gate piers, they
enhance the streetscape around Pittville Park and have good
group value with the house.
