GV II

Pair of gate piers. c1833-50. Stucco over brick. Piers
(alike): square on plan; shafts have indented panels, crowning
band, frieze and cornice with pyramidal caps. Approximately 2m
high.
Forms part of a larger group of piers to carriage sweep and
boundary to Nos 107 and 109 (qv), which includes: 5 Gate piers
to Carriage Sweep with Railings to Nos 107 and 109 (qv).
An integral part of a group of original piers (qqv) forming a
significant streetscape feature in The Park.
