Gate piers to Dewerstone House

GV II

Pair of gate piers. 1870s. Ashlar over brick. Gothic Revival
style. Moulded plinth, square on plan. Chamfered angles to
shaft with trefoil decoration to frieze, triple-chamfered
pyramidal caps. A significant streetscape feature, in matching
style to Dewerstone House (qv).
