GV II

Villa. c1820-50 with later additions and alterations. Stucco
over brick with hipped slate roof, iron railings and
wrought-iron balcony to garden facade.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, 6 first-floor windows, with 3-storey,
2-window gabled range to right. Main range has first-floor
band; 8/8 sashes where original, 2 to left are blind, all in
plain reveals and with sills. Off-centre left entrance, flight
of steps to panelled door with sidelights and overlight,
within pedimented Ionic porch with paired, fluted columns.
Wide eaves. Left return has ground-floor bow window.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: arrowhead railings to sides of steps.
