Villa. c1830-40 with extension to right. Stucco over brick
with slate roof, end stucco stacks; iron bracket.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, 3 first-floor windows with entrance bay
set back to right and with further single-storey range to
right. Main range has horizontal rustication with voussoirs
over windows; tooled first-floor band; frieze and cornice with
blocking course. Central bay slightly recessed. 1/1 sashes
throughout, those to ground floor are tripartite, all in plain
reveals and with sills. Entrance to right a 4-panel door under
tent porch. Further range to right has 6/6 sashes and
entablature.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: scrolled bracket supports tent roof to
porch.
HISTORICAL NOTE: houses along Tivoli Road (known then as
Tivoli) are shown as laid out on Merrett's Map of 1834, with
several built to the north end.
