Public house and shop. Early C18, mid C19, C20 alterations.
Red brick in Flemish bond, stucco, pantile roofs, gable stack.
EXTERIOR: left-hand section of 3 storeys in brick, curved to
corner, with curved panelled door, glazing bar overlight. To
left a glazing bar sash. To right 2 tripartite sashes, further
panelled door and overlight. All with plain pilasters under
fascia and cornice.
2-storey block to right in lined stucco with altered C19 shop
front, above a divided sash, and to either side of the corner
a glazing bar sash with eared stucco surround on sill
brackets, to 1st and 2nd floors.
To the rear a small parallel range beside the river, in
stucco, with coped gables. 3 storey 2 bay, ground floor
obscured by modern extension. To 1st floor 2 irregular
windows, to 2nd floor a glazing bar sash.
INTERIOR: retains c1900 bar fittings.
