GV II

House. Early C18, altered and refronted early C19. Red brown
brick, stucco, slate roof with stone coped gables and stock
brick gable stacks. Overhanging eaves with paired brackets.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys, 3-bay front, with off-centre 6-panel door
with radiating fanlight, moulded pilasters, panelled reveals.
To either side a single canted bay window with 3 glazing bar
sashes, with carved pilasters. Lead roof over 2-bay windows
and door. To 1st floor a tall central glazing bar sash,
originally opening to a balcony, now removed, is flanked by
single smaller similar windows. To second floor are 3 small
glazing bar sashes. The early C18 brickwork and openings of
the rear wing can be seen on Stells Lane.
INTERIOR: retains stick baluster stair with swept handrail,
lit by tall semicircular headed window to rear, and
contemporary panelled doors and fire surrounds.
