Pair of houses. Early C19. Red/brown brick in Flemish bond,
pantile roofs, single ridge stack, brick coped gables.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys plus attics, 4-bay front each house with 2
bays. No 53 has original 6-panel door and overlight. No.51 a
later 6-panel door, both with pedimented surrounds with narrow
pilasters and carved brackets. No.53 has glazing bar sashes,
Ground floor 2 windows to centre bays, 1st floor has 4
windows, all with segmental arched brick heads. In the roof 2
dormers with rendered cheeks and segmental lead roofs.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
