Bargate Lodge House

GV II

House, now offices. Early C19 altered c1980. Painted brick,
Welsh slate roof, hipped with lead dressings, single ridge
stack.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys plus attics, 2-bay front; with 1st floor
sill band and overhanging eaves. To ground floor 2 glazing bar
sashes, the left-hand one in the former door opening. To 1st
floor 2 similar windows. There is a pair of similar windows to
each floor on the right-hand side elevation. In the roof a
single flat-roofed dormer. The rear has been altered C20, and
the former panelled front door inserted into a new rear
opening. The original door and window openings have flat
stucco wedge lintels with keystones.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
