South front has has bronze wreath fixed to obelisk and bronze plaque to plinth with the inscription "This memorial was erected to the memory of the men of Southwick and Fishersgate who fell in the Great War 1914-1919. Let those for whom they died see they be not forgotten." A further panel below reads "1939-1945." Other sides have stone inscription panels with the names of the fallen.
