GV II

Former pair of workers cottages, now two houses. c. 1900 with late C20 alterations. Designed by A. Couchman for Bass Brewery. Red brick with plain tile roofs and a single brick stack. Chamfered blue brick plinth, moulded brick band and overhanging eaves with timber barge-boards. Two storey.
Main front has two central gabled wings each with a cross casement window to each floor. Set back to either side are single part glazed doors with over-lights.
This building forms an integral part of this nationally important Maltings complex.
