Canal workers' cottages, now 3 houses. Dated 1844. Painted
brick with gabled Welsh slate roof and polygonal clustered
stacks to ridge. Domestic Tudor Style. 2 storeys. Front facing
locks has 1:1:3:1:1 fenestration with horned 2/2 pane sashes
set in eared rendered surrounds, the outer sections recessed
and the gabled 3-window centre having canted full-height bay
and carved bargeboards; continuous plat band and three
doorways with flat hoods and C20 doors to centre. Door in each
gable-end.
INTERIOR: not inspected. Included for external completeness as
canal workers' housing, and relationship to canal lock and
works at Diglis Island.
