Three houses, now house, shop and part of public house. Late
C18 with later additions and alterations including late C20
shop front. Brick in Flemish bond, painted to front facade,
pinkish-red brick to right gable; slate roofs to left and
centre, plain tiles to right. 3 storeys, 2:1:1 first-floor
windows. The row of houses is angled to follow the line of the
street. First floor: two 8-pane casement windows to left, then
two 8/8 sashes, all in flush frames and with cambered arches.
Second floor has two 6-pane casement windows to left then two
4/4 sashes, all in flush frames. Modillion eaves. Ground
floor: to left a 3-pane shop window with glazed door; then
part-glazed door and plate-glass window with cambered arch; to
right an 8/8 sash with cambered arch and sill, 6-panel door
with overlight and architrave with fluted pilasters.
Interiors: not inspected.
Nos 3 to 9 (odd) and Nos 21 and 23 form a group.
No.7 currently forms part of The Farriers Arms, Nos 9 and 11
Fish Street (qv).
