Gatepiers, gates and wall. Early C19. Bath stone ashlar and coursed squared rubble with wrought iron gates. Square ashlar piers with small cornice and pyramid cap. Wrought-iron double gates swept down to middle. Rubble wall with plain coping between hotel and churchyard. The Brompton House Hotel was previously the Vicarage to St John the Baptist Church, St. John's Road (qv).
