Two houses in row. Early to mid C19.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, part painted, pantile roof.
EXTERIOR: Two storeys and lower ground floor. No.12A, immediately attached to The Golden Fleece (qv), single bay wide, with late C20 windows, and door under hood, moulded cornice with blocking course and parapet, and stack to left. No.12 has two twelve-pane sashes to sill band, above large sixteen-pane, and twelve-pane to lower ground floor. To right, on five stone steps and landing bridging area, C20 door. Moulded cornice, blocking course and parapet, all slightly lower than to 12A, and stack to left. Rear to these two rebuilt in square block to plain parapet, various lights, replace to 12A.
INTERIORS: Not inspected.
HISTORY: Part of modest row remaining in an area where much has been demolished.
