Pair of houses in row. Mid C19.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, pantile (No.14) and concrete tile (No.13) roof.
PLAN: Double depth houses built as pair, but modified.
EXTERIOR: Two storeys and lower ground floor, each two windows. No.13 has deep four-pane sashes, with C20 door on stone steps, left, in deep reveals and to sunk arched surround. Flight of steps leads to lower door (No.13A) in area, in coursed rubble walling. No.14 has plain sashes, with corresponding doorway on steps to right, and further door in lower ground floor. Full width moulded cornice, blocking course and parapet, with coped gables and party division, and square central stack to each ridge. Rear has single lights to each level, with door at mid level to No.13, and lower ground to No.14, all to plain parapet. Roof to No.13 rebuilt, to steeper pitch than original.
INTERIORS: Not inspected.
HISTORY: Part of a short row of modest houses, in an area where much has been demolished.
