Raised pavement, railings and overthrow. c1840. The raised pavement in Bennett Street has steps down toward the centre giving access to the Assembly Rooms. Flat mushroom heads to square-section railings, alternate railings dividing into an inverted Y at the base, rest on a horizontal lower rail raised on cast iron balls; approx 20m to the west and 30m to the east of three steps under an overthrow with ornamental cast iron piers and large scroll supports to a square bracket for a lamp.
