House at end of terrace, returned to New King Street. c1770.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, slate roof.
EXTERIOR: Three storeys, attic and basement.
Front to St Anne's Place has two twelve-pane dormers above single nine-pane sash at first and second floors, with twelve-pane at ground floor. To right six-panel door. Platband above ground floor, inscribed with `ST ANNE'S PLACE¿ in fine incised Roman lettering, immediately above full width wood lintel. Above first floor small cavetto drip course, with similar drip over second floor for part only of width. High mansard roof returns at hipped end. Front to New King Street has two wide spaced twelve-pane sash dormers above twelve-pane at second floor and paired twelve-pane at first floor, those to left being smaller. Ground floor has wide shopfront in pilasters, with central recessed door, all under fascia with dentil cornice, and further panelled door far right. Platband and wooden lintel cut through by shopfront. Small drip course at first floor and cornice with deep blocking course and parapet. Large square stack to rear, and smaller centred stack.
INTERIORS: Not inspected. Part of a notable survival of artisan housing, laid out around a close.
