Four houses in extended terrace. c1830.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar front, coursed and squared stone rear, slate to rear roof of No.16, pantile to No.18, remainder concrete tile.
EXTERIOR: Double depth houses with central valley gutter. Each of three storeys, with two window fronts. Windows mainly twelve-pane sashes, but plain plate glass ones to ground floor of No.15 and second floor of No.16. First floor windows have moulded cornice on brackets, sill band. Entrance on right hand side, with panelled door with shallow transom light. Broad ground floor platband, moulded cornice with shallow blocking course and parapet, returned at right hand end to flat centre across valley. Two ashlar stacks to coped party divisions, but stacks have been removed from No.18. Rear mainly twelve-pane sashes, some smaller lights, and various small extensions.
INTERIORS: Not inspected. This part of the St Mark's Road terrace retains more original detail than remainder (Nos 1-6 and 7-14 qqv).
