House. c1770-1775 with C19 and C20 alterations. Possibly developed by Mark Spencer.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar to front, rubble to basement, rubble to rear, double pile parapeted mansard roof, Welsh Slate to front, artificial slate to rear, with coped party wall to left with two ashlar stacks with early clay pots. Staircase to front.
EXTERIOR: Three storeys, attic and basement, two-window range. First floor has two plate glass horned sashes in plain reveals with stone sills, second floor has two similar sashes. Ground floor has to left similar sash, to right four-panel door with flush beaded panels and two upper panels with late C19/early C20 leaded lights, in plain reveal, one Pennant step to concrete paved crossover. Basement has three/three sash in plain reveal with stone sill, part-glazed plank door with three-pane overlight infilling under crossover, no area steps. Double dormer with plate glass horned sashes. Band course over ground floor, modillion cornice and coped parapet. Lead downpipe to left shared with No.1 Spencer's Belle Vue (qv). Rear elevation partially visible has plate glass sash to second floor right, plate glass sashes to triple dormer.
INTERIOR: Not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: Attached wrought iron railings with arrow heads on limestone bases.
