Six terrace houses stepped downhill from No.29 to right. c1830.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar painted to ground floors, roofs unseen, moulded stacks to party walls.
PLAN: Double depth plans.
EXTERIOR: Three storeys with basements, each house has two-window front. Parapets, cornices and lintel friezes, first floor sill bands, plinths pierced by upper parts of basement windows. Formerly houses had six/six-pane sash windows to upper floors, eight/eight-pane sashes to ground floors and basements and set back six-panel doors with overlights. No.29 unaltered. Nos 30 and 31 have plate glass sash windows. No.32 has two/two-pane sash windows to second floor left and plate glass sash to right, six/six-pane sash windows to first floor and plate glass to ground floor. No.33 has plate glass sash window to ground floor. No.34 unaltered.
INTERIORS: Not inspected. Nos 1 to 13 (consec), Nos 1 to 4 (consec) Lyndhurst Place, The Chapel and Nos 20 to 26 (consec) and 29 to 36 (consec) form a group. Nos 1 to 13 (consec) also from a group with Nos 1 and 2 London Road.
