Three terrace houses, c1816 with late C19 alterations.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, pantile roofs.
PLAN: Small houses, facing north, with basement projecting below raised pavement giving access. Each house has projecting unit under swept-down roof at rear.
EXTERIOR: Three storeys and basement, each single window, all four-pane sashes, and wood lintels to No. 5 only. Small square light to basement level immediately under pavement. Main level original six panel doors, middle panels with roundels, reeded linings, and plank door to basement. Moulded cornice immediately above second floor window heads, with blocking course and parapet. Large square ridge stack, raised in brick, to Nos. 5 and 6, and smaller to left of No. 7. Right gable coped, above plain walling, with one small four pane at mid-height. To rear service projections have small lights, plank doors to small enclosed yards.
INTERIORS: Nos. 6 and 7 partially inspected by Bath Council 1981. No. 6 has original sash windows at front, replaced at back. No. 7 some features remain, nothing particularly interesting. Across north frontage is a stone paved access way, with continuous simple iron railing. The range is attached at the left hand end to the Baptist Chapel (qv). Chapel and houses first appear in Bath Directory for 1826.
