Garden house to No.10 Lansdown Crescent (qv), now separate dwelling. Early C19 with C20 additions.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, slate roofs with moulded stacks to returns.
PLAN: Two-unit plan with later hip-roofed wings to street front.
EXTERIOR: Two storeys, wide five-window range to garden front. Garden front has coped parapet and cornice, central range set slightly forward with set back door and window above. Paired windows with shared sills to outer ranges, three/three-pane sashes to first floor, six/nine panes to ground floor, all restored. Large rectangular lead rainwater heads to returns. Irregular (and much restored) street facade. Six/six-pane sash windows to. First floor of left hand wing canted bay, ground floor has two windows. Right hand wing has single window over C20 garage door. Set back central range has small Venetian window over C20 porch and door.
INTERIOR: Not inspected. An example of the grander sort of mews buildings associated with the major developments of this period. Lansdown Crescent was built in 1792 to the designs of John Palmer.
