Pair of cottages in small group. Early to mid C19 with C20 alterations.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, double Roman tile or slate roof.
PLAN: Plain block with central valley to double roof, set high above road behind retaining wall, with later unit to left (not included).
EXTERIOR: Two storeys, each two windows, all four-pane sash in plain reveals. To left, in deep arched reveal with sunk surround, six-panel door with decorative fanlight, and to right late C20 flat roofed porch over similar door. Coped gables, to right with stack, and ridge stack centrally. Roof in two sections, to right in slate at low pitch, and to left in tile at higher pitch. Broad mid-band, moulded cornice, blocking course and parapet. Exposed northern gables plain.
INTERIORS: Not inspected.
